A delicious buffet bread in the form of wheat baguettes that guests can easily break off themselves at the table. Easy to prepare: make the dough the day before and let it rise in the refrigerator overnight. Roll out the baguettes and cut them into wheat bread pieces. Let them rise again and bake!

Combine all the ingredients and mix them together in a food processor for about 13 minutes; double the time if you're kneading by hand.

Let the dough rest for 2–3 hours, then carefully turn it out onto a floured surface. Divide the dough into pieces and roll them out into baguettes the length of the baking sheet. Place them on the baking sheet, make cuts about 1 cm from the center, and fold each cut out in different directions so that they look like a “scythe.” Dust with flour and let rise for about 40 minutes.

Preheat the oven to 250 °C.

Bake for 13–15 minutes until the bread is deliciously crispy.
