KronJäst Rye Sourdough

Ready-to-use sourdough starter for anyone who loves sourdough bread. A sourdough starter with live sourdough culture that can be used right away—spontaneously and easily. KronJäst Sourdough doesn’t need to be fed; it’s ready to be mixed into the dough right when you start making it, and the amount is tailored to a suitable basic recipe. You can customize the recipe to your liking, using different types of flour, various shapes, and different toppings for the bread.

• Mix with: Yeast + Water + Flour + Oil + Salt = 2–3 loaves of bread.
• Basic recipe on the back of the package.
• Ingredients: Liquid rye sourdough with live sourdough culture (water, fermented whole-grain rye flour ), stabilizer (E415).
• This product contains 44% whole grains.
• The live sourdough starter contains, among other things, lactic acid bacteria that naturally produce carbon dioxide. When carbon dioxide is produced, the bag may “swell”; this is completely natural and harmless. The bag has a valve that releases the carbon dioxide that forms naturally in the sourdough.
• KronJäst Sourdough contains live bacterial cultures that give the bread its flavor and aroma. The sourdough is made from fermented flour and water.
• The package must be stored refrigerated, at a maximum of 6 °C.
• GMO-free.
• Vegan.
• The packaging should be recycled as plastic.
