Oat Baguettes
30 min
1 hour 30 minutes
Spice up your brunch or breakfast with some delicious bread made with oats and wheat.
Here's how:
-
1
Crumble the yeast into a bowl and dissolve it in lukewarm water.
-
2
Add rolled oats, all-purpose flour, sugar, and salt. Mix into a smooth dough—slowly for 5 minutes and then quickly for 4 minutes—in a mixer, then let it rise on the counter for 30 minutes.
-
3
Divide the dough into 15 pieces and shape them into baguettes, about 10 cm long.
-
4
Preheat the oven to 225 °C. Place the baguettes on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise for another 30–40 minutes.
-
5
Brush with egg and sprinkle with pumpkin seeds.
Bake in the middle of the oven for 12–15 minutes.
