    Here's how:

    • 1

Heat the milk to 40 °C.

    • 2

Crumble the yeast into the milk and dissolve it.

    • 3

Mix all the dry ingredients and add them to the milk along with the butter.

    • 4

Mix the ingredients together and knead into a stretchy dough, about 6 minutes in a mixer or 12 minutes by hand.

    • 5

Cover the dough with plastic wrap and let it rise for 45 minutes.

    • 6

Roll out the dough and cut it into 12 equal pieces.

    • 7

Roll each piece of dough into a round bun and let them rest for 10 minutes.

    • 8

Roll out each bun to about 10 cm in diameter and place them on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.

    • 9

Cover with a kitchen towel and let rise for about 45 minutes in a draft-free place.

    • 10

Preheat the oven to 250 °C.

    • 11

Brush the bread with the beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

    • 12

Place it in the oven and, at the same time, lower the temperature to 230 °C.

    • 13

      Bake for about 8 minutes.
