Pancakes are a clear favorite, and these delicious pancakes made with sourdough and yeast are absolutely delicious.
If you want to prepare the batter in advance, you can put it in the fridge, but be sure to choose a bowl that's big enough for the batter to rise. You can also easily make pancakes.
Here's how:
-
1
Crumble KronJäst for Sweet Doughs, fresh, into a bowl
-
2
Melt the margarine in a saucepan (or use liquid margarine) and pour in the milk; heat to 25 °C.
-
3
Stir the margarine and milk mixture, the sourdough starter, and the eggs into the bowl with the yeast.
-
4
Add salt and vanilla sugar.
-
5
Whisk in the flour, a little at a time, until the batter is smooth.
-
6
Let it rise for about 30 minutes.
-
7
Pour in about 1 dl of batter and swirl the pan to spread the batter evenly. Flip the pancake when the surface begins to dry out. Cook the other side.
