    Here's how:

      Mix the high-fiber rolled oats, wheat bran, and milk, and let stand for about 30 minutes.

      Mix the butter into the oatmeal mixture. Crumble the yeast into a bowl, add a little of the oatmeal mixture, and stir until the yeast dissolves.

      Then add the sugar, salt, and the rest of the oatmeal mixture. Stir. Add the flour, a little at a time, until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl.

      Knead the dough thoroughly. Roll it out and cut out round cookies. You can use a glass, dipping it in flour every now and then. Place them on a baking sheet and let them rise for about 2 hours.

      Bake at 200 °C until they are nicely browned.

    • 100 g (2 packets) KronJäst for Bread, fresh
    • 1,000 g (10 dl) milk, cold
    • 300 g butter, at room temperature 
    • 12 g (2 tsp) salt
    • 300 g (3 dl) sugar
    • 1,600–2,000 g (about 27–33 dl) all-purpose flour
    • 175 g (5 dl) high-fiber rolled oats
    • 52 g (about 1.5 dl) wheat bran
