
Garlic Rolls

Garlic bread on the side can save a meal. It goes well with just about anything, but perhaps especially well with Italian dishes. A simple carbonara or a hearty soup paired with this delicious bread is sure to be a hit!
Here's how:

Preheat the oven to 230 °C and mix together the butter and garlic.

Crumble one packet of yeast into water at 25–30°C. Dissolve the yeast completely.

Add salt, oil, and flour.

Knead until the dough is elastic, then let it rise in the bowl for 60 minutes.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface to about 60×35 cm

Spread the garlic butter evenly over the entire surface of the dough.

Roll up the dough like a Swiss roll and cut it into pieces about 3 cm thick.

Place the rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and let them rise, covered, for about 45 minutes.

Brush with water and sprinkle with a little flaky salt.

Place in the center of the oven and bake for about 8–10 minutes.

- 50 g (1 packet) KronJäst for Bread, fresh
- 500 g (5 dl) water
- 780 g (about 13 dl) all-purpose flour
- 13 g (1 tbsp) cooking oil
- 12 g (2 tsp) salt
Filling
- 150 g (about 1.5 dl) butter, at room temperature
- 2 garlic cloves, pressed

- flaked salt
