Blueberries are both healthy and delicious. Do you like other berries, or maybe rhubarb or apples? Vary the ingredients depending on what you feel like putting in your buns. The only limit is your imagination!
Here's how:
-
1
Heat the milk to 25 °C, dissolve the yeast in it, and mix in the remaining ingredients.
-
2
Mix into an elastic dough and let it rise, covered, for about 30 minutes.
-
3
Divide the dough into 20 pieces and roll them into balls. Place them in a bun pan. Pipe in vanilla cream and blueberry jam, and let them rise under a baking cloth for about 40 minutes.
-

Brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle a little pearl sugar on top. Bake at 220 °C for about 10–12 minutes, then let them cool. The buns are best served slightly warm!
