Juicy carrot pockets.
This is a recipe from one of our readers and was not created or tested by KronJäst.
Here's how:
-
1
Crumble one packet of yeast into 20 °C water. Dissolve the yeast completely.
-
2
Add salt, spices, oil, carrots, and flour.
-
3
Knead until the dough is elastic, then let it rise in the bowl for 60 minutes. Preheat the oven to 230 °C.
-
4
Place the dough on a floured table and shape it into a long loaf.
-
5
Divide the dough into about 16 equal-sized pieces, then roll them into balls.
-
6
Let the buns rest for 5 minutes, then roll them out so they're about 15 cm in diameter.
-
7
Brush one half with oil and fold it over to form a half-moon.
-
8
Sprinkle a little flour on top and let them rise, covered, for about 45 minutes.
-
9
Slice the bread and bake in the middle of the oven for about 7–8 minutes.
