A delicious focaccia where you can easily choose your own toppings based on what you like. Olive, feta cheese, tomatoes, or maybe some tasty herbs. A really nice bread.

    Here's how:

    • 1

Crumble the yeast into a bowl. Add a little milk at 20 °C and stir until the yeast has dissolved.

    • 2

Add the remaining milk, almost all of the flour, salt, and olive oil, and knead into a dough.

    • 3

Let the dough rise for 40 minutes under a kitchen towel. Brush a baking sheet with olive oil.

    • 4

Knead the dough in the bowl, then pour it directly into the baking sheet. Spread the focaccia evenly so that the dough covers the baking sheet.

    • 5

Let it rise, covered with a towel, for 30 minutes.

    • 6

Brush the focaccia with olive oil, sprinkle a few pinches of gourmet salt and a little rosemary over it. If you like, press olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and feta cheese into the dough here and there.

    • 7

Let it rise for another 10 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 °C.

    • 8

Bake the focaccia on the lower rack of the oven for 25 minutes, until it's nicely browned.
