Poppy Seed Rice with Citrus
20–30
40 min
1 hour 40 minutes
Delicate and crispy crackers to serve with a cheese platter. If you’d like to serve the crackers without cheese, you can brush them with water and sprinkle a little brown sugar on top before baking. A very tasty and enjoyable alternative to the “usual cookie with coffee.”
Here's how:
-
1
Dissolve the yeast in room-temperature water.
-
2
Combine all the ingredients and knead into an elastic dough—about 10 minutes in a mixer or 20 minutes by hand.
-
3
Let the dough rise for about 1 hour.
-
4
Preheat the oven to 200 °C.
-
5
Roll out the dough into very thin cookies. Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
-
6
Bake for about 5 minutes until the cookies are golden brown. Flip them over and let them bake for a little while longer.
