Here's how:
-
1
Preheat the oven to 225 °C.
-
2
Crumble the yeast into a bowl, add the 25 °C water, and stir until the yeast has dissolved.
-
3
Add salt, cooking oil, and all-purpose flour.
-
4
Mix until the dough is smooth. Let the dough rise for 30 minutes on the counter.
-
5
Divide the dough into two pieces. Roll out the pieces into rectangles measuring about 40×30 cm.
-
6
Spread a thin layer of tapenade, fold it in half, and cut it into 2-cm-wide strips.
-
7
Twist the ends in opposite directions and gently pull on them at the same time so that they measure about 20 cm.
-
8
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and bake in the center of the oven for 10–15 minutes.
Tip!
- Feel free to serve the olive sticks warm, with olive oil for dipping and a little flaky salt to sprinkle on top.
