    Here's how:

      Crumble the yeast into a mixing bowl, heat the butter and milk to 20 °C, and pour the mixture over the yeast. Stir until all the yeast has dissolved.

      Add the eggs, sugar, salt, and flour. Knead into a dough, then let it rise for 30 minutes under a kitchen towel.

      Cream together the butter, sugar, and vanilla sugar.

      Divide the dough into two parts. Roll out one part and place it in the bottom of a 30×40 cm baking sheet. Spread the marzipan cream over the bottom layer of dough. Roll out the other piece of dough and spread the butter cream over it. Roll it up and cut the roll into 30 pieces.

      Place the buns on top of the marzipan cream in the baking sheet with one cut side facing down. Let rise for 30 minutes.

      Then brush the buns with beaten egg and sprinkle with pearl sugar.
      Bake at 225 °C for about 15–20 minutes.

    • 50 g (1 packet) KronJäst for Sweet Doughs, fresh
    • 250 g (2.5 dl) milk
    • 125 g (1.25 dl) butter
    • 100 g (2) eggs
    • 50 g (0.5 dl) granulated sugar
    • 3 g (0.5 tsp) salt
    • 480 g (about 8 dl) all-purpose flour

    Filling

    • 100 g (1 dl) butter
    • 150 g (1.5 dl) granulated sugar
    • 90 g (1.5 dl) vanilla sugar
    • 3 dl marzipan cream

    Brushing

    • 1 egg, beaten 

     

    Garnish

    • granulated sugar
