“Less is more”—you don’t always need a lot of ingredients for a dish to taste really good. The rich, creamy, and slightly tangy Taleggio cheese is proof of this. All it takes is a couple of drops of olive oil and a little arugula to create a complete flavor experience. If you like, you can of course add some ham or maybe a little roasted bell pepper.

Slice the bread and drizzle a little olive oil on top. Cut the cheese into slices about one centimeter thick, and place them on the bread along with a small handful of arugula. Top with another slice of bread. Pop it in the toaster for a couple of minutes. Serve!
