Crispbread is a classic Swedish bread. Almost everyone has it at home, but only a few bake their own delicious crispbread —and we think it’s time we changed that together—give it a try today!
Here's how:
-
1
Dissolve the yeast in the water and add the remaining ingredients. Knead into an elastic dough.
-
2
Let the dough rise for about 40 minutes, covered with plastic wrap.
-
3
Preheat the oven to 240 °C. Roll out the dough and cut it into 22 pieces. Then roll the pieces into balls and let them rest.
-
4
Roll out the buns thinly, about 12 cm in diameter, and prick them with a fork.
-
5
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper, brush with water, and sprinkle with flaky salt or your choice of seeds.
-
6
Bake at 240 °C for 6–7 minutes, until they are nicely browned.
-
7
Store them in a dry place.
