Muesli Bread
25 min
2 hours
Bread with muesli and syrup.
This is a recipe from one of our readers and was not created or tested by KronJäst.
Here's how:
-
1
Melt the butter in a saucepan. Stir in the milk and muesli, and bring the mixture to a boil to make porridge. Let it cool to 20 °C.
-
2
Stir the yeast into the water until it has dissolved. Mix in the salt and syrup. Pour the yeast mixture into the cooled porridge and stir.
-
3
Gradually mix in a little flour at a time into the porridge mixture and knead the dough thoroughly. Continue doing this until the dough pulls away from the sides of the bowl. Let it rise for 1 hour.
-
4
Shape the dough into small rolls. Let them rise, covered, for 40 minutes.
-
5
Bake the rolls in the oven at 250 °C for 8–10 minutes. Let them cool on a wire rack covered with a kitchen towel.
