Flatbread
30 min
2 hours 10 minutes
A flatbread that's easy to bake in a frying pan.
This is a recipe from one of our readers and was not created or tested by KronJäst.
Here's how:
-
1
Crumble the yeast into a bowl.
-
2
Melt the butter and mix it with milk, syrup, and salt. Let it cool to 20 °C.
-
3
Pour the liquid over the yeast and stir thoroughly.
-
4
Add the flour a little at a time and mix the dough; it should be sticky, so don't add any more wheat flour.
-
5
Let the dough rise in the bowl, covered with a kitchen towel, until it doubles in size—about 1 hour.
-
6
Then divide the dough into small balls and let them rise for another 40 minutes. After that, simply roll out the dough into breads as thin as you like.
-
7
Toast the bread in a dry skillet until it’s lightly browned. Don’t toast it for too long, or it will become hard. Place the bread on a kitchen towel and cover it with another kitchen towel.
