A classic treat that's easy to make. A wonderful option to bake for breakfast.
Here's how:
-
1
Dissolve the yeast in lukewarm milk.
-
2
Mix all the ingredients in a food processor: 5 minutes on low and 3 minutes on high.
-
3
Place the dough on a floured work surface and divide it into 14 pieces. Knead each piece into a ball and let them rest, covered with a kitchen towel, for 20 minutes.
-
4
Place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, spacing them out slightly so they don't stick together as they rise.
-
5
Let the bread rise in a turned-off oven with the light on, at a maximum of 35 °C, for about 40–50 minutes.
-
6
Then take the bread out and cover it with a kitchen towel so it doesn't dry out.
-
7
Bake for about 5–6 minutes at 230 °C.
