Berry & Almond Pizza

1 hour 20 minutes
A delicious and unique option for a snack or a day out. Feel free to customize it with your favorite berries or seasonal ones! If you want to save time, you can prepare the dough rounds in advance up to step 3 and freeze them before letting them rise. Then, when it’s time for a snack, just take them out, thaw them, let them rise, and bake them. It’s really convenient!
Here's how:
-
1
Melt the butter and add the milk—the liquid must not be hotter than 37° C when you stir in the yeast.
-
2
Then mix in the remaining ingredients and knead into an elastic dough. Let it rise, covered, for at least 30 minutes.
-
3
Divide the dough into 10 pieces and roll them out into small round pizzas; let them rise for about 20 minutes.
-
4
Pipe the almond filling onto the pastry, leaving a border all around, and arrange the berries on top. Brush the edges with egg and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
-
5
Bake at 200°C for 6–8 minutes, until the pizzas are done.
-
6
If you'd like, you can dust it with a little powdered sugar.
